Louisville/Jefferson County, Ky., bonds subject to mandatory tender

By Ashley Montgomery

Kansas City, Kan., March 2 - The Louisville and Jefferson County Metropolitan Government of Kentucky's $128 million of pollution control revenue bonds, series 2003A, are subject to mandatory tender, according to a notice.

The notice said the mandatory tender is a result of the expiration of the long-term rate period on the bonds on April 1. A new long-term rate period will commence April 2.

The bonds will be redeemed April 2 at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

The bonds were issued for the Louisville Gas and Electric Co. Project in 2003.

Deutsche Bank Trust Co. Americas is the trustee.
