Nashville and Davidson County, Tenn., to redeem six series of bonds

Kansas City, Kan., Feb. 29 - The Health and Educational Facilities Board of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tenn., said it would redeem its Vanderbilt University revenue bonds, series 2000B, 2001A, 2001B, 2002A, 2003A and 2005A-2.
The following bonds are affected:
• $53.3 million of variable-rate 2000B bonds due Oct. 1, 2030;
• $1,455,000 of 5% 2001A bonds due May 1, 2013;
• $1.53 million 5% 2001A bonds due May 1, 2014;
• $1,605,000 of 5% 2001A bonds due May 1, 2015;
• $1,685,000 of 5% 2001A bonds due May 1, 2016;
• $2.77 million of 5.25% 2001B bonds due Oct. 1, 2012;
• $2,915,000 of 5.25% 2001B bonds due Oct. 1, 2013;
• $3,075,000 of 5.25% 2001B bonds due Oct. 1, 2014;
• $3.24 million of 5.25% 2001B bonds due Oct. 1, 2015;
• $3,415,000 of 5.25% 2001B bonds due Oct. 1, 2016;
• $11,345,000 of 5% 2001B bonds due Oct. 1, 2019;
• $13,195,000 of 5% 2001B bonds due Oct. 1, 2022;
• $18.77 million of variable-rate 2002A bonds due Oct. 1, 2032;
• $17,335,000 of variable-rate 2003A bonds due July 1, 2018; and
• $45.3 million of variable-rate 2005A-2 bonds due Oct. 1, 2044.
The 2000B, 2002A, 2003A bonds will be redeemed April 2. The 2001A, 2001B and 2005A-2 bonds will be redeemed March 29.
All of the affected bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.
