Wake County, N.C., refunds $124 million of series 2004 school bonds

Minneapolis, Feb. 9 - County of Wake, N.C., refunded all $124 million of its series 2004A and 2004B variable-rate school bonds, according to a press release.

The 2004 bonds were refunded with proceeds from the issuance of $75.29 million of general obligation refunding bonds, series 2012B, and other available funds.

The county redeemed $67 million of its series 2004A bonds, which were due April 1, 2019, and $57 million of its series 2004B bonds, which were due April 1, 2021.

U.S. Bank NA is the paying agent.
