Wichita, Kan., calls G.O. renewal, improvement notes due 2013

Minneapolis, Dec. 21 - The City of Wichita, Kan., plans to redeem its series 245 and 252 general obligation renewal and improvement temporary notes, according to two notices.

The following will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Feb. 14:

• $6,105,000 of 0.75% series 245 bonds due Aug. 15, 2013; and

• $55.14 million of 0.25% series 252 bonds due Aug. 15, 2013.

The Treasurer of the State of Kansas in Topeka, Kan., is the note registrar and paying agent.
