Chelan County, Wash., public utility defeases $53.7 million of notes

Kansas City, Kan., Dec. 20 - Public Utility District No. 1 of Chelan County, Wash., defeased $53,695,000 of its 5% series 2008A consolidated system subordinate revenue notes due July 1, 2013, according to a notice.

U.S. Bank, NA is the escrow agent.
