Newark, N.J., calls $20 million of tax anticipation notes due 2013

Kansas City, Kan., Dec. 10 - The City of Newark, N.J., will redeem $20 million of its 2.4% series 2012A tax anticipation notes due Feb. 20, 2013, according to a notice.

The notes will be redeemed on Dec. 31 at par plus accrued interest the redemption date.

Following the redemption, $40 million of the notes will remain outstanding.

TD Bank, NA is the paying agent.
