Atlanta Municipal Association calls $6.53 million of series 1998 COPs

Kansas City, Kan., Nov. 20 - The City of Atlanta Municipal Association will redeem $6,525,000 of its 5.25% series 1998 certificates of participation due Dec. 1, 2013, according to a notice.

The bonds were issued for Atlanta Detention Center Municipal Court and City Hall East projects.

The bonds will be redeemed on Dec. 1 at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

Following the redemption, $4,355,000 of the bonds will remain outstanding.

The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the trustee.
