Port Authority of New York, New Jersey calls portion of Continental, Eastern airlines bonds

Minneapolis, Nov. 1 - The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey called $17.24 million of its 9.125% special project bonds, series 2, Continental Airlines, Inc. and Eastern Air Lines, Inc. project LaGuardia Airport passenger terminal third installment.

The bonds, which are due Dec. 1, 2015, will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Dec. 1.

Following the transaction, $61.74 million of the bonds will remain outstanding.

The Bank of New York Mellon is the trustee.

The authority is based in New York City.
