Dallas defeases $239.25 million of series 2004, 2005, 2006 G.O. bonds

Minneapolis, Oct. 31 - The City of Dallas defeased $25,665,000 of its series 2004, $85.16 million of series 2005 and $128,425,000 of series 2006 general obligation bonds, according to multiple notices.

The following series 2004 bonds will be redeemed at plus accrued interest on Feb. 15, 2013:

• $8,555,000 of 5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2014;

• $8,555,000 of 5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2023; and

• $8,555,000 of 5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2024.

The following series 2005 bonds will be redeemed at plus accrued interest on Feb. 15, 2014:

• $9,465,000 of 5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2015;

• $9,465,000 of 5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2016;

• $9,465,000 of 5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2017;

• $9,465,000 of 5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2020;

• $9,460,000 of 5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2021;

• $9,460,000 of 5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2022;

• $9,460,000 of 5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2023;

• $9,460,000 of 5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2024; and

• $9,460,000 of 5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2025.

The following series 2006 bonds will be redeemed at plus accrued interest on Feb. 15, 2015:

• $11,675,000 of 5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2016;

• $11,675,000 of 5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2017;

• $11,675,000 of 5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2018;

• $11,675,000 of 5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2019;

• $11,675,000 of 4.5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2020;

• $11,675,000 of 4.5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2021;

• $11,675,000 of 4.5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2022;

• $11,675,000 of 4.5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2023;

• $11,675,000 of 4.5% bonds due Feb. 1, 2024;

• $11,675,000 of 4.75% bonds due Feb. 1, 2025; and

• $11,675,000 of 4.75% bonds due Feb. 1, 2026.
