RF Micro Devices buys back $32 million convertibles in fiscal 2013 Q2

Kansas City, Kan., Oct. 29 - RF Micro Devices, Inc. has repurchased $47.4 million of its 1% convertible subordinated notes due 2014 during the six months ended Sept. 29, according to a 10-Q filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company said it repurchased $32 million of the notes at an average price of 98.33 in the second quarter of fiscal 2013.

As previously reported, the company repurchased $15.4 million at an average price of 98.34 in the first quarter of fiscal 2013.

Additionally, the company paid off the remaining $6.3 million balance on its bank loan.

RF Micro Devices designs and manufactures high-performance radio frequency components and is based in Greensboro, N.C.
