Clark County School District, Nev., defeases four G.O. bond series

Kansas City, Kan., Oct. 12 - Clark County School District of Nevada has defeased a total of $178,110,000 from four series of its general obligations bonds, according to notices.

The following series 2001D bonds were refunded at par plus a 4% premium:

• $8.38 million of bonds due June 15, 2014;

• $100,000 of bonds due June 15, 2017; and

• $100,000 of bonds due June 15, 2018.

The following series 2005C bonds were refunded at par for redemption on Dec. 15, 2015:

• $31,915,000 of bonds due June 15, 2020; and

• $33,515,000 of bonds due June 15, 2021.

The following series 2004D bonds were refunded at par for redemption on Dec. 15, 2014:

• $26,565,000 of bonds due June 15, 2018; and

• $27.89 million of bonds due June 15, 2019.

The following series 2002A bonds were refunded at par plus a 3% premium for redemption on Dec. 15:

• $21,855,000 of bonds due June 15, 2015; and

• $27.79 million of bonds due June 15, 2016.
