Omaha Public Power defeases $232.92 million of electric system bonds

Minneapolis, Oct. 10 - The Omaha Public Power District, Neb., defeased $32.92 million of its 2005 series B and $200 million of its 2006 series A electric system revenue bonds, according to two notices.

The 2005B bonds, which are due Feb. 1, 2017 through 2022, will be redeemed on Feb. 1, 2015.

The 2006A bonds, which are due Feb. 1, 2018 through 2028, 2030, 2034, 2039, 2044 and 2046, will be redeemed on Feb. 1, 2014.

The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the escrow agent.
