Houston Area Water calls $111.34 million of water purification bonds

Kansas City, Kan., Jan. 31 - The Houston Area Water Corp. said it would redeem $111.34 million of its series 2002 northeast water purification plant project city of Houston contract revenue bonds.
The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to March 1, the redemption date.
The following bonds are affected:
• $3,245,000 of 5.5% bonds due March 1, 2013;
• $3.42 million of 5.5% bonds due March 1, 2014;
• $3.61 million of 5.5% bonds due March 1, 2015;
• $3.81 million of 5.5% bonds due March 1, 2016;
• $4.02 million of 5.5% bonds due March 1, 2017;
• $4.24 million of 5.5% bonds due March 1, 2018;
• $4.47 million of 5.5% bonds due March 1, 2019;
• $4.72 million of 5.125% bonds due March 1, 2020;
• $4.96 million of 5.125% bonds due March 1, 2021;
• $5,215,000 of 5.25% bonds due March 1, 2022;
• $5.49 million of 5.25% bonds due March 1, 2023;
• $5,775,000 of 5.35% bonds due March 1, 2024;
• $26,275,000 of 5.125% bonds due March 1, 2028; and
• $32.09 million of 5.125% bonds due March 1, 2032.
