California Statewide plans to prepay $86.42 million of certificates

Kansas City, Kan., Jan. 17 - The California Statewide Communities Development Authority announced the optional prepayment of its certificates of participation evidencing a proportionate interest in installment payments made by the authority from purchase payments received from affiliates of Sutter Health. The original principal amount of the certificates is $106,125,000.

To be prepaid at par plus accrued interest to Feb. 15, the prepayment date, are the following:

• $4.68 million of 5.5% certificates due Aug. 15, 2018;

• $4,935,000 of 5.5% certificates due Aug. 15, 2019;

• $43.37 million of 5.75% certificates due Aug. 15, 2027;

• $33.43 million of 5.5% certificates due Aug. 15, 2031.
