Texas Tech plans to redeem all $81.99 million of series 2001 bonds

Kansas City, Kan., Jan. 13 - The Board of Regents of Texas Tech University said it would redeem all $81,985,000 of its outstanding seventh series 2001 bonds.

The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Feb. 15.

The following bonds are affected:

• $4.44 million of 5.5% bonds due Aug. 15, 2014;

• $4,685,000 of 5.5% bonds due Aug. 15, 2015;

• $4.94 million of 5.5% bonds due Aug. 15, 2016;

• $4,935,000 of 5.5% bonds due Aug. 15, 2017;

• $7.55 million of 5.5% bonds due Aug. 15, 2018;

• $7,965,000 of 5.5% bonds due Aug. 15, 2019;

• $17,225,000 of 5.125% bonds due Aug. 15, 2021;

• $12,895,000 of 5% bonds due Aug. 15, 2025; and

• $17.35 million of 5% bonds due Aug. 15, 2031.
