Phoenix Industrial Development may tender for Bank One Ballpark bonds

By Marisa Wong

Madison, Wis., Sept. 23 - The Industrial Development Authority of the City of Phoenix gave notice of a potential tender offer for all or a portion of the $97.73 million Bank One Ballpark Project stadium revenue bonds, taxable series 1998.

The authority said that obligated group agent AZPB LP, doing business as Arizona Diamondbacks, may choose to have the bonds purchased through open market or private transactions, a public tender offer or otherwise.

If the agent decides to pursue a tender offer for the bonds, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC will be the dealer manager.

Bank One Ballpark has been renamed Chase Field and is the home stadium for the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball.
