Grant County, Wash., utility district defeases series 2001-H bonds

Madison, Wis., Sept. 16 - Public Utility District No. 2 of Grant County, Wash., said it defeased its 2001-H electric system revenue and refunding bonds on Sept. 15.
The following 2001-H bonds were defeased:
• $1.545 million of 4% bonds due Jan. 1, 2012;
• $3.19 million of 5.375% bonds due Jan. 1, 2012;
• $1.21 million of 4.125% bonds due Jan. 1, 2013;
• $6.17 million of 5.375% bonds due Jan. 1, 2013;
• $150,000 of 4.25% bonds due Jan. 1, 2014;
• $7.61 million of 5.375% bonds due Jan. 1, 2014;
• $8.175 million of 5.375% bonds due Jan. 1, 2015;
• $100,000 of 4.4% bonds due Jan. 1, 2016;
• $5.665 million of 5.375% bonds due Jan. 1, 2016;
• $255,000 of 4.5% bonds due Jan. 1, 2017;
• $5.815 million of 5.375% bonds due Jan. 1, 2017;
• $6.395 million of 5.375% bonds due Jan. 1, 2018; and
• $6.725 million of 5.375% bonds due Jan. 1, 2019.
The defeased bonds will be redeemed on Jan. 1, 2012.
The Bank of New York Mellon is the trustee.
