Florida redeems $140.46 million of series 2001A, 2001B Forever bonds

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 12 - The State of Florida said it defeased and will redeem $30.4 million of its series 2001A and $110.06 million of its series 2001B Department of Environmental Protection Florida Forever bonds at 101 plus interest to Sept. 12, the redemption date. The state originally issued $268.64 million of the bonds.

The series 2001A bonds include the following:

• $2.43 million of 4.5% bonds due 2012;

• $2.54 million of 5% bonds due 2013;

• $2.66 million of 5% bonds due 2014;

• $2.79 million of 5% bonds due 2015;

• $2.93 million of 5.25% bonds due 2016;

• $3.08 million of 5.25% bonds due 2017;

• $3.24 million of 5% bonds due 2018;

• $3.4 million of 5% bonds due 2019;

• $3.58 million of 5% bonds due 2020; and

• $3.77 million of 5% bonds due 2021.

The series 2001B bonds include the following:

• $28.42 million of 5% bonds due 2012;

• $29.95 million of 5% bonds due 2013;

• $5.52 million of 4.25% bonds due 2014;

• $5.76 million of 4.375% bonds due 2015;

• $6.01 million of 4.5% bonds due 2016;

• $6.28 million of 4.5% bonds due 2017;

• $6.56 million of 4.625% bonds due 2018;

• $6.86 million of 4.75% bonds due 2019;

• $7.19 million of 4.75% bonds due 2020; and

• $7.53 million of 4.75% bonds due 2021.
