DundeeWealth calls C$200 million 5.1% notes, series 1 first preferreds

Chicago, Sept. 7 - DundeeWealth Inc. said it called its C$200 million principal amount of 5.1% series 1 notes due Sept. 25, 2014 and also plans to redeem its series 1 first preference shares.
The company said it will redeem the 5.1% notes at C$109.775 per C$100.00 principal amount of notes plus accrued interest up to but excluding the redemption date of Oct. 7.
For the preferreds, the company will pay C$26.50 plus accrued dividends up to but excluding the redemption date of Sept. 8.
The company's shareholders passed an amendment at a meeting held on Sept. 7 allowing the company to redeem all of its outstanding preferreds.
Of the votes cast, 99.65% voted in favor of the special resolution, according to a company press release.
DundeeWealth is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of Nova Scotia and a diversified wealth management company based in Toronto.
