Grant County, Wash., utility district to defease series 2001-H bonds

Madison, Wis., Sept. 6 - Public Utility District No. 2 of Grant County, Wash., said it plans to defease its 2001-H electric system revenue and refunding bonds using funds from the sale of series 2011-I revenue and refunding bonds. The sale of the new bonds is scheduled for Sept. 19.

The following 2001-H bonds will be defeased:

• $1.545 million of 4% bonds due Jan. 1, 2012;

• $10.45 million of 5.375% bonds due Jan. 1, 2012;

• $1.21 million of 4.125% bonds due Jan. 1, 2013;

• $11.41 million of 5.375% bonds due Jan. 1, 2013;

• $150,000 of 4.25% bonds due Jan. 1, 2014;

• $13.13 million of 5.375% bonds due Jan. 1, 2014;

• $13.995 million of 5.375% bonds due Jan. 1, 2015;

• $100,000 of 4.4% bonds due Jan. 1, 2016;

• $14.645 million of 5.375% bonds due Jan. 1, 2016;

• $255,000 of 4.5% bonds due Jan. 1, 2017;

• $15.285 million of 5.375% bonds due Jan. 1, 2017;

• $16.37 million of 5.375% bonds due Jan. 1, 2018; and

• $17.25 million of 5.375% bonds due Jan. 1, 2019.

The defeased bonds will be redeemed at their maturity or on Jan. 1, 2012.
