Atlanta rescinds redemption of Westside Project tax allocation bonds

By Marisa Wong

Madison, Wis., Sept. 6 - The City of Atlanta rescinded a notice of partial redemption of its Westside Project series 2008 subordinate-lien tax allocation variable-rate bonds.

The issuer previously gave notice that it would redeem $1.215 million of the $63.76 million tax allocation bonds on Sept. 1.

The bonds were to be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.
