Gainesville, Fla., calls parts of four series of utility system bonds

Madison, Wis., Aug. 31 - City of Gainesville, Fla., said it will redeem portions of its utilities system revenue bonds, 2003 series B, 2005 series B and C and 2007 series A, on Oct. 1.

The affected bonds include:

• $840,000 of 2003B 4.4% bonds due Oct. 1, 2013;

• $920,000 of 2005B 5.14% bonds due Oct. 1, 2015;

• $3.1 million of 2005C variable-rate bonds due Oct. 1, 2026; and

• $275,000 of 2007A variable-rate bonds due Oct. 1, 2036.

The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.
