Cucamonga Valley Water District, Calif., defeases 2000, 2001 COPs

Madison, Wis., Aug. 31 - Cucamonga Valley Water District of California said it defeased its $89.28 million of 2000 water share purchase certificates of participation and $40.26 million 2001 water facilities and financing COPs on Aug. 30.

The defeased bonds will be redeemed on Sept. 1.

Wells Fargo Bank, NA is the trustee.

The Cucamonga, Calif., district provides water and wastewater services to residents in the cities of Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, Ontario and Fontana, as well as to residents of unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County, Calif.
