Minnesota calls $153 million G.O. various purpose, trunk highway bonds

Chicago, Aug. 25 - Minnesota plans to redeem $140.5 million of general obligation state various purpose bonds and $12.5 million of G.O. trunk highway bonds at par on Oct. 1.

Covered by the redemption are 10 series of 5% notes due between 2012 and 2021. Each series has a principal amount of $15.3 million.
