Florida defeases part of 2001H public education capital outlay bonds

Madison, Wis., Aug. 19 - The State of Florida defeased a portion of its 2001 series H full faith and credit state board of education public education capital outlay bonds due in the years 2013 through 2015 and 2028, according to a revised notice.

The issuer previously said that it defeased $74.865 million of its 2001 series H bonds due in the years 2013 through 2024 and 2028, along with $158.89 million of its 2002 series A.

The defeased bonds will be redeemed on June 1, 2012 at 101 plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

The defeased 2001H bonds include the following:

• $1.285 million of bonds due June 1, 2013;

• $1.345 million of bonds due June 1, 2014;

• $5,000 of bonds due June 1, 2014;

• $10.115 million of bonds due June 1, 2015;

• $220,000 of bonds due June 1, 2015;

• $10,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $15,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $10.8 million of bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $45,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $20,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $15,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $5,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $5,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $45,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $10,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $5,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $5,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $10,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $25,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $40,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $5,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $10,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $40,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $110,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $5,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $5,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $25,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028; and

• $5,000 of bonds due June 1, 2028.
