Pennsylvania to redeem all second series of 2001 G.O. bonds at 101

Madison, Wis., Aug. 15 - Commonwealth of Pennsylvania said it will redeem all $150.5 million of its outstanding second series of 2001 general obligation bonds on Sept. 15.

The bonds will be redeemed at 101 plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

Affected are the following bonds:

• $15.05 million of 5% bonds due Sept. 15, 2012;

• $15.05 million of 5% bonds due Sept. 15, 2013;

• $15.05 million of 5% bonds due Sept. 15, 2014;

• $15.05 million of 5% bonds due Sept. 15, 2015;

• $15.05 million of 5% bonds due Sept. 15, 2016;

• $15.05 million of 5% bonds due Sept. 15, 2017;

• $15.05 million of 5% bonds due Sept. 15, 2018;

• $15.05 million of 5% bonds due Sept. 15, 2019;

• $15.05 million of 5% bonds due Sept. 15, 2020; and

• $15.05 million of 5% bonds due Sept. 15, 2021.
