Louisiana Public Facilities calls some Willis Knighton Medical bonds

Madison, Wis., Aug. 8 - Louisiana Public Facilities Authority said it will redeem $2.5 million of its $53.7 million of outstanding Willis Knighton Medical Center series 1995 variable-rate bonds due Sept. 1, 2025.

The bonds will be redeemed on Sept. 6 at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

The Baton Rouge, La.-based authority issues taxable and tax-exempt bonds to finance educational facilities, hospitals, student loans and industrial and economic development projects. The medical center is based in Shreveport, La.
