Potter County, Texas, calls $57.3 million Southwestern Public bonds

Madison, Wis., Aug. 5 - Potter County Industrial Development Corp. of Texas said that it will redeem its $57.3 million of outstanding series 1996 Southwestern Public Service Co. 5.75% pollution control revenue refunding bonds due Sept. 1, 2016 in full on Sept. 15.
The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.
Southwestern is a public utility based in Amarillo, Texas, and is a subsidiary of Minneapolis-based Xcel Energy, Inc.
