Michigan's New Center Development 2004-A COPs have mandatory tender

Madison, Wis., Aug. 5 - The State of Michigan gave notice that its series 2004-A certificates of participation issued on behalf of New Center Development Inc. are subject to mandatory tender for purchase on Sept. 1.

The certificates will be purchased at par plus accrued interest to the purchase date.

The affected securities include $18 million of term-rate certificates due Sept. 1, 2031 and $103.48 million of term-rate certificates due Sept. 1, 2031.

The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the trustee.

New Center is a commercial and residential district located in Detroit.
