South Carolina Jobs calls portion of 2004 MUFC Central Energy bonds

Madison, Wis., Aug. 1 - South Carolina Jobs-Economic Development Authority said that it will redeem $1.515 million of its $52.18 million of outstanding MUFC Central Energy Project series 2004 variable-rate economic development revenue bonds due Sept. 1, 2031.

The bonds will be redeemed on Sept. 1 at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

The Columbia, S.C.-based authority promotes the business and economic welfare of South Carolina by financing public and private projects. MUFC is an energy plant that serves the Charleston, S.C.-based Medical University of South Carolina.
