Sonic Automotive calls $42.86 million 8 5/8% senior subordinated notes

San Diego, July 18 - Sonic Automotive, Inc. has issued a call to fully redeem its $42,855,000 of 8 5/8% series B senior subordinated notes due Aug. 15, 2013.

The notes will be redeemed on Aug. 16 at a redemption price of par plus accrued interest. Following the redemption, the outstanding amount of notes will be zero.

U.S. Bank NA (800 934-6802) is the paying agent.
