BlackRock MuniYield calls $218.45 million auction market preferreds

San Diego, July 1 - BlackRock MuniYield Fund, Inc. will redeem all of its outstanding series A28, C28, D28, E7, F7 and G7 auction market preferred shares, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Each of the 8,738 shares has a liquidation preference of $25,000, and the redemption will total $218.45 million.

The redemptions will occur over five days, as follows:

• 1,320 series A28 shares on July 27;

• 1,320 series C28 shares on July 20;

• 1,320 series D28 shares and 2,052 series E7 shares on July 13;

• 1,260 series F7 shares on July 21; and

• 1,466 series G7 shares on July 18.
