Philadelphia calls portions of 1997, 2005 water and wastewater bonds

Madison, Wis., June 29 - City of Philadelphia said it will redeem portions of its $78.5 million series 1997B and $83.665 million series 2005B variable-rate water and wastewater revenue bonds on Aug. 1.

The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

The redemption includes $2.9 million of the issuer's 1997B bonds due Aug. 1, 2027 and $425,000 of 2005B bonds due Aug. 1, 2018.
