Academic Finance calls all $53.8 million of 2006A-1 student loan notes

Madison, Wis., June 17 - Academic Finance Corp. said it will redeem in full its $53.8 million of outstanding series 2006A-1 variable-rate student loan asset-backed notes due June 1, 2042.

The notes will be redeemed on July 13 at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

Academic Finance is a loan company of Waco, Texas-based Brazos Higher Education Service Corp., Inc., which provides management services to nonprofit higher education financing corporations.
