University of Massachusetts authority cancels 2008-3, 2008-4 bond call

Madison, Wis., June 6 - University of Massachusetts Building Authority rescinded the planned redemption of its weekly rate refunding revenue bonds, senior series 2008-3 and 2008-4, according to notices.

The bonds were originally to be redeemed on June 9 at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

Affected were $135.04 million of 2008-3 bonds due Nov. 1, 2034 and $101.7 million of 2008-4 bonds due Nov. 1, 2034.

U.S. Bank NA is the trustee.

The Boston-based authority builds facilities on the University of Massachusetts campuses financed from student fees.
