Turnpike Authority, Ky., calls $60.48 million series 2001-B bonds

Madison, Wis., June 1 - The Turnpike Authority of Kentucky said it will redeem its $60.475 million of outstanding series 2001-B economic development road revenue and revenue refunding bonds due July 1, 2019 in full on July 1.

The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

Affected are the following bonds:

• $13.375 million of 5.25% bonds due July 1, 2016;

• $630,000 of 4.9% bonds due July 1, 2016;

• $14.735 million of 5% bonds due July 1, 2017;

• $15.475 million of 5.1% bonds due July 1, 2018; and

• $16.26 million of 5.15% bonds due July 1, 2019.

The Frankfort, Ky.-based authority is responsible for the construction, operation and financing of the state's road systems.
