Richmond County, Ga., authority calls $3.5 million MCG Health bonds

Madison, Wis., June 1 - Development Authority of Richmond County, Ga., gave notice that it will redeem portions of its MCG Health, Inc. project revenue bonds, series 2008A and 2008B, on July 1.

The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

To be redeemed are $2.305 million of $85 million outstanding variable-rate 2008A bonds due July 1, 2037 and $1.19 million of $50 million outstanding 0% 2008B bonds due July 1, 2037.

The authority issues bonds to fund industrial, educational, medical and related projects in Augusta, Ga. MCG is an academic medical center that is also based in Augusta, Ga.
