Washington calls $13.6 million 1996 A, B adjustable-rate G.O. bonds

Madison, Wis., May 31 - The State of Washington said it will redeem $6.8 million of its series 1996 VR-96A and $6.8 million of its series 1996 VR-96B adjustable-rate general obligation bonds on June 1.

The bonds from both series, which are due June 1, 2020, will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.
