Los Angeles calls portions of four series of wastewater system bonds

Madison, Wis., May 2 - The City of Los Angeles said it will redeem portions of its wastewater system variable-rate subordinate refunding revenue bonds, series 2008A, on June 1.

The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

To be redeemed are the following bonds:

• $310,000 of the city's $84.73 million 2008A bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $250,000 of the city's $69.78 million 2008B bonds due June 1, 2028;

• $175,000 of the city's $49.84 million 2008C bonds due June 1, 2028; and

• $115,000 of the city's $31.9 million 2008D bonds due June 1, 2028.
