Rutgers University, N.J., amends redemption date for 2002, 2009 bonds

Madison, Wis., April 11 - Rutgers University will redeem $3.9 million of its $110 million 2002 series A general obligation bonds due May 1, 2018 and $1.495 million of its $80 million 2009 series G G.O. bonds due May 1, 2039 on May 1, according to revised notices.

The issuer originally planned to redeem portions of the 2002A and 2009G bonds on May 2.

The variable-rate bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

Rutgers is the state university of New Jersey.
