University of Minnesota plans to redeem three series of G.O. bonds

Madison, Wis., March 16 - The University of Minnesota gave notice that it will redeem all of its outstanding general obligation bonds, series 1999A, 2001C and 2003A, on March 21.

The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

The redemption will be funded with proceeds from the recent issuance of series 2011A G.O. bonds.
