Powerwave buys back $10 million 1.875% convertibles in fourth quarter

Chicago, Feb. 17 - Powerwave Technologies, Inc. said it repurchased $10 million of its 1.875% convertible senior subordinated notes due 2024 in the fourth quarter.
The company bought back $13 million of the convertibles for $12.7 million during the year ended Jan. 2, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Powerwave noted in a 10-Q filing that it bought back $3 million of the convertibles in the first nine months of the year.
The issuer is a Santa Ana, Calif.-based supplier of end-to-end wireless services for wireless communications networks.
