Ionia Capital buys back some of its Elbe II fixed-rate notes at par

Kansas City, Kan., Dec. 20 - Ionia Capital plc repurchased a portion of its Elbe II class A-e2 secured fixed-rate credit-linked notes due Sept. 20, 2013 on Tuesday, according to a filing with the London Stock Exchange.

The notes were repurchased at par plus accrued interest.

Following the transaction, the €2.45 million of the notes remains outstanding.

The issuer is based in London.
