Philadelphia refunds series 2001A, 2007A water and wastewater bonds

Kansas City, Kan., Dec. 12 - The City of Philadelphia said it refunded $34.45 million of its series 2001A water and wastewater revenue bonds and $17.52 million of its series 2007A water and wastewater revenue refunding bonds on Nov. 16.

The following series 2001A bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date, Nov. 1, 2012:

• $6.09 million of 5.25% bonds due Nov. 1, 2016;

• $6.485 million of 5.25% bonds due Nov. 1, 2017;

• $6.805 million of 5.375% bonds due Nov. 1, 2018;

• $7.155 million of 5.375% bonds due Nov. 1, 2019; and

• $7.915 million of 4.8% bonds due Nov. 1, 2021.

The following series 2007A bonds will be paid at maturity:

• $8.54 million of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2014; and

• $8.98 million of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2015.

Following the notice, none of the above listed bonds are considered outstanding.
