Maryland Health calls two series of Upper Chesapeake Hospitals bonds

Madison, Wis., Nov. 23 - Maryland Health and Higher Educational Facilities Authority said it will redeem its Upper Chesapeake Hospitals revenue bonds, series 2008A and 2008B, on Dec. 14.

The redemption includes $61.8 million of 2008A bonds due Jan. 1, 2043 and $58.08 million of 2008B bonds due Jan. 1, 2043.

The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

U.S. Bank NA is the trustee.

The Baltimore-based authority helps hospitals and related health care organizations and higher educational institutions finance approved projects. Upper Chesapeake is a health care network based in Bel Air, Md.
