Connecticut to redeem $162.23 million of 2001 series E G.O. bonds

Kansas City, Kan., Nov. 14 - The State of Connecticut said it would redeem $162.23 million of its 2001 series E general obligation bonds at par plus interest to the redemption date.

The following bonds will be redeemed Nov. 15:

• $42.94 million of 5.125% bonds due Nov. 15, 2012;

• $29.255 million of 5.125% bonds due Nov. 15, 2013;

• $27.965 million of 5.125% bonds due Nov. 15, 2014;

• $26.875 million of 5.125% bonds due Nov. 15, 2015;

• $24.64 million of 5.125% bonds due Nov. 15, 2016; and

• $10.555 million of 5% bonds due Nov. 15, 2019.

U.S. Bank, NA is the trustee.
