Arizona Transportation calls all $38.2 million of series 2002 bonds

Kansas City, Kan., Nov. 14 - The Arizona Transportation Board announced the redemption of all its outstanding $38.195 million principal amount of series 2002 highway revenue bonds.

The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Dec. 14.

The following bonds are affected:

• $1.335 million of 4.2% bonds due July 1, 2012;

• $10.76 million of 5.25% bonds due July 1, 2012;

• $910,000 of 4.3% bonds due July 1, 2013;

• $11.81 million of 5.25% bonds due July 1, 2013;

• $11.76 million of 5.25% bonds due July 1, 2014; and

• $1.62 million of 4.4% bonds due July 1, 2014.

The board issues revenue bonds to finance transportation improvements throughout Arizona.
