Port Authority calls $15.80 million of LaGuardia terminal bonds

Madison, Wis., Oct. 31 - The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey will redeem $15.795 million of its outstanding series 2 Continental Airlines, Inc. and Eastern Airlines, Inc. Project, LaGuardia Airport Passenger Terminal bonds, third installment, according to a notice by trustee Bank of New York Mellon.

The bonds will be redeemed on Dec. 1 at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

Following the redemption, $78.98 million of the bonds will remain outstanding.

Continental is a Chicago-based airline and a subsidiary of United Continental Holdings, Inc. Eastern was an airline based in Miami-Dade County, Fla.
