Meridian Metropolitan District, Colo., calls two series of G.O. bonds

Madison, Wis., Oct. 28 - Meridian Metropolitan District, Colo., said it will redeem its $55.405 million of outstanding series 2001A general obligation bonds and its $9.59 million of outstanding series 2001B G.O. bonds on Dec. 1.

The 2001A bonds are due in the years 2012 through 2017, 2025 and 2031 and have coupons ranging from 4.4% to 5.375%. The 2001B bonds are due in the years 2012 through 2017, 2025 and 2031 and have coupons ranging from 4.375% to 5%.

Both series of bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.
