Tennessee defeases, to redeem $65.25 million series 2005 B G.O. bonds

Minneapolis, Oct. 26 - The State of Tennessee announced that it has defeased $65.25 million of its series 2005 B general obligation bonds.

The debt will be redeemed on Aug. 1, 2013, according to a release.

The following bonds will be redeemed at 101% of the principal amount:

$7.25 million of its 5% notes due 2014;

$7.25 million of its 4.1% notes due 2015:

$7.25 million of its 4.15% notes due 2016;

$7.25 million of its 4.25% notes due 2017;

$7.25 million of its 4.35% notes due 2018;

$7.25 million of its 4.4% notes due 2019;

$7.25 million of its 4.45% notes due 2020;

$7.25 million of its 4.45% notes due 2021; and

$7.25 million of its 4.5% notes due 2022.
